Nothing about how you reach us has changed. The 800 number still works, the 412 number still works, and the same customer service people answer them. Only the street address is different.
Greensburg sits in Westmoreland County, east of Pittsburgh, with easy access to Route 30, Route 119, and the Pennsylvania Turnpike. For a lot of the plants and mills we call on across Western PA, the new location is actually a shorter drive than the old one.
Why we moved
The short answer: we needed the room.
Our business has always run on inventory and bench work. We stock a wide range of flow, level, pressure, and temperature products so customers can get parts the same day instead of waiting two weeks on a factory lead time. We also calibrate, repair, and custom-assemble instruments in house. Both of those things take square footage, and we'd outgrown what we had.
The Woodward Drive facility gives us more warehouse space, a better-laid-out service center, and loading and staging areas that make it easier to get orders out the door quickly. It also gives us room to keep growing the product lines we represent.
Who we are, in case we're new to you
M.S. Jacobs & Associates was founded in Pittsburgh in 1945. Our first customers were steel mills, which made sense at the time — this was the Pittsburgh region, and steel was the region. Steel is still an important part of what we do.
Over the decades since, the customer list broadened considerably. Today we supply instrumentation and controls to essentially every major industrial market in our territory:

- Chemical processing
- Pulp and paper
- Oil and natural gas production
- Water and wastewater treatment
- Primary metals and steel
- General manufacturing
Eighty years in the same business tends to leave a mark. A lot of the applications that come across our desks are ones we've solved before, sometimes at the same plant, sometimes for the same engineer at a different plant.

We're a manufacturers' representative and distributor of industrial instrumentation and process controls. Our lines cover:

The service center
This is the part of the business that customers tend to be most attached to, and it made the move with us.
Our service center handles instrument calibration and repair — not only for the products we sell, but for other manufacturers' equipment as well. We carry factory authorization for repair on a number of industrial process instrumentation lines, which means the work is done to the manufacturer's spec by people the manufacturer trained.
We also do custom assembly. If you need a panel, a rack, or an instrument package built to your drawing, we'll assemble it, test it, and certify it before it ships.
The territory we cover
M.S. Jacobs covers three sales territories, and the Greensburg move doesn't change any of them:
Western Pennsylvania — covered out of the new Greensburg office, which is also our main warehouse and service center.

New York — covered by our Batavia, NY office, serving upstate and Western New York.
Between the three, we have outside sales engineers on the road across the whole region and inside customer service people who know the product lines cold. If you're in Erie or Wheeling or Rochester, you still have a local contact, and that contact hasn't changed.

Where should I send instruments for repair or calibration now? Ship to 1563 Woodward Drive Ext, Greensburg, PA 15601. Anything sent to the old Noblestown Road address should be redirected, but please update your shipping records to avoid delays.
Where do I send purchase orders and remittances? The Greensburg address. If you have M.S. Jacobs saved as a vendor in your ERP or accounting system, that record needs updating.
Are the West Virginia and New York offices affected? No. Both are open and operating exactly as before.
Is anything about my account or pricing changing? No. Same company, same team, same agreements.
Can I still get same-day shipment from stock? Yes. Stocking inventory for fast turnaround is one of the main reasons we moved to a larger facility.
